This track was a last minute edition to the School Dork project which is done, mostly (holla at me if you'd like it in it's (almost) entirety). I originally planned to do somethin over this beat (Big Gipp-Steppin' Out), but couldn't find the instrumental and thought it was unloopable for some reason. Coming back to it months later I realized it was and proceeded to do so. I like this cause it works as an example of my style changing and slash or transitioning, which kinda makes sense with the subject of the song and was not my original intention at all, from being so wordy slash trying to say so much in a bar.

So, awhile back I was in my room about to watch ATL thinkin I was about to see some John Singleton-ness ish only placed in Atlanta so I was like, "Yeah-yer!" [/foreshadowing]. But, what I was greeted with was some happy-go-lucky tale of the shenanigans one can get into while living in the A. How fun! I was kinda disgusted. Thought I was about to see Boyz In Da Hood 2: In Da South, but what I got was a movie that's main plot point revolved around a skating rink...and skating...Granted that was the thing to do for the youth, but these dudes had a crew! And the bouncy BG music! WHAT!?

Man look at that trailer! I thought I was gonna get an epic. Or at least Belly level. *smh*

Anyways, during the scene with T.I. and LL in the car the song I sampled comes on the radio which is what gave me the idea in the first place; then I found $20 and a clown died. The End. Good talk.

This track is late for no reason. I'mma have to put that all on me.

Anyways, this track has a story I feel like sharing.

So, DOOM put this beat on one of his Special Herbs & Spices way back when. I thought it was "E.U.G.H." from the moment I heard it, but didn't know how to approach it. Fast forward a few years to me hearing it as the intro on Born Like This and me bein like, Oh, he's fend to rip this. I been waitin years for someone to do this. Awesome! Then, he doesn't spit...but I'm like, Alright, the tracklist says the last song is called "Thank Yah" and that's what the sample says so it must come back at the end, and he rips it then. Cool. Good sequencing. I can't wait. Fast forward to me getting to the end of the album...listening to Freddie Foxxx speak...the beat comes on...and fadeout... ... .. . .... .. ...nada. I was sittin there like, WHAH!!. Forreal. I couldn't believe he still hadn't touched it. So, I had been wantin to write a song called "Wham Bam" so I figured I'd finally touch the track since I hadn't heard anyone else do so, and the chorus jus came about with the non-sequitur slash chalance slash sense of the verses and happened to fit the sample. Sometimes things work out.

Anyways, after being long-winded: Track. Bow!

P.S.-Doom flipped the fuck outta this sample. Peep the original. WoW. Props given. Enormously so.

I was waitin on Swagger Music (pt.) 2 to come out before I did this so I could do that beat also. IIbirdsIstone. BUT, the track (which was supposed to have Jeezy, NaS, and 3 Stacks, according to the Internetz) wasn't on BP3...so. Yeah. Gotta stop fallin for those Jay-Z press releases. Disappointing. The original producer line-up for the OG Blueprint (Hov's, not KRS's), anyone?
